Head physician of the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Gastroenterological Oncology at München Klinik Bogenhausen (since 2021), with the München Klinik since 1994, previously a research post in Mannheim. Board-certified in internal medicine with subspecialties in gastroenterology and hematology/oncology, additional qualifications in drug-based tumor therapy, palliative care and proctology. Played a key role in founding the interdisciplinary oncology day clinic (2004) and building the DKG-certified oncology center (2014).
