Formerly known as Synlab Suisse SA, the company was rebranded to MEDISYN in 2023 after being acquired by the Australian diagnostics group Sonic Healthcare, making it independent of the German Synlab Group. MEDISYN is part of the Sonic Suisse network alongside partner laboratories Medisupport and Medica, providing laboratory medicine services — including liver function and hepatology-related diagnostics — to general practitioners, specialists, and hospitals throughout Switzerland.
