Alb Fils Klinikum Göppingen – Gastroenterology

The Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Diabetology at Alb Fils Klinikum Göppingen, led by Dr. Klaus Metter, treats acute and chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, esophagus, pancreas, liver and bile ducts including cancers, as well as all forms of diabetes. The department performs around 6,000 endoscopies and over 10,000 ultrasound examinations annually, and holds DEGUM certification for its ultrasound department.
