The Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Kantonsspital Baselland (KSBL) in Liestal, led by Chief Physician Prof. Emanuel Burri, offers upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy with polypectomy, ERCP with papillotomy, stent placement and stone extraction, video capsule endoscopy, endosonography and liver diagnostics/biopsies. The department is part of the Colorectal Cancer and Obesity Centers and provides 24-hour emergency endoscopy.
