The Fourth Department of Medicine with Center for Gastroenterological and Hepatological Diseases and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at Klinik Landstraße Wien (formerly Krankenhaus Rudolfstiftung) is led by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Christian Madl. Services include the full diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy spectrum: colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCP, double-balloon enteroscopy, capsule endoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound, management of gastrointestinal bleeding, gastrointestinal and hepatic oncology, and a dedicated liver disease outpatient clinic (hepatitis, cirrhosis, autoimmune disease) along with care for inflammatory bowel disease.
