The Department of Gastroenterology at Klinikum Bielefeld – Mitte, led by Prof. Dr. Jan Heidemann, provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of gastroenterological conditions. The department has a state-of-the-art endoscopy unit and works closely with visceral surgery. It is certified as an Oncology Center by the German Cancer Society and offers gastroscopies and colonoscopies as well as tumor board care.
