The Department of Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine at Elbe Klinikum Buxtehude, led by Chief Physician Dr. Mariam Nassery, offers diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy with polyp removal, capsule endoscopy, double-balloon enteroscopy and ERCP in cooperation with the Stade site. Additional services include abdominal, vascular and thyroid ultrasound, functional diagnostics (pH monitoring, manometry) and 24-hour emergency endoscopy.
