The Department of Internal Medicine II at Klinikum Fulda, led by Chief Physician Prof. Dr. med. C. Schmidt, treats the full spectrum of gastroenterological and hepatological conditions: reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, gallstones, and acute and chronic pancreatitis. The department also runs the Pancreatic Cancer Center and offers modern endoscopy and ultrasound facilities with a dedicated outpatient clinic for inflammatory bowel disease.
