The Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Metabolism and Nephrology at Klinikum Garmisch-Partenkirchen, led by Chief Physician Dr. Vincens Weingart, offers a broad spectrum: gastroscopy and colonoscopy with polypectomy, POEM, anti-reflux procedures (ARMA), ESD/FTRD tumor resection, capsule endoscopy, balloon-assisted enteroscopy, endosonography, ERCP, cholangioscopy, and treatment of autoimmune liver disease and hepatitis B/C, using HDTV endoscopes with Narrow-Band Imaging and liver elastography.
