The Department of Pediatrics at Klinikum Starnberg, led by Chief Physician Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Lang, operates one of the largest pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology outpatient units in southern Germany. As a GPGE-designated training center and treatment center for chronic inflammatory bowel disease and Wilson's disease, the department offers endoscopy, liver biopsies, breath tests, ultrasound diagnostics, and nutritional counseling for children and adolescents with liver and digestive disorders.
