The Gastroenterology division of the Department of Internal Medicine I at Ulm University Hospital, led by Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Thomas Seufferlein, covers the full spectrum of hepatology, gastrointestinal oncology, interventional endoscopy and chronic inflammatory bowel disease. The endoscopy outpatient unit (headed by Prof. Dr. Benjamin M. Walter) provides diagnostics and therapy including sonography and functional testing for liver and digestive disorders.
