Research focus: the impact of modern antiviral hepatitis C therapies on liver transplant need – as co-author of a multicenter study with Prof. Dr. Heiner Wedemeyer (data from 11 German transplant centers, published in the Journal of Hepatology), she showed a decline in hepatitis C-related transplants from 20% to 12%.
