Prim. Prof. Dr. Christian Madl works in gastroenterology and hepatology within the Vienna Healthcare Group (Wiener Gesundheitsverbund), including the 4th Medical Department for Gastroenterological and Hepatological Diseases. His clinical and scientific focus is on gastroenterology and internal medicine intensive care, particularly pancreatic disorders (acute pancreatitis, infected pancreatic necrosis), nutritional therapy in intensive care, gastrointestinal endoscopy and sedation, glucose management in critically ill patients, and stress ulcer prophylaxis. He has published numerous articles in journals including INTENSIV-News, GASTRO&HEPA-News, and NUTRITION-News.
