Prof. Dr. Josef Menzel is chief physician of the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Diabetology and Hematology-Oncology at Klinikum Ingolstadt, where he treats the full range of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas. He is a board-certified internist with additional qualifications in gastroenterology and FEBGH (Fellow of the European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology), and was elected president of the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM), which oversees training and quality assurance in ultrasound diagnostics.
