Knappschaftsklinikum Saar GmbH operates two hospital sites in Saarland: the Puttlingen site (Department of Internal Medicine with focus on gastroenterology, hepatology, endocrinology and diabetology, Chief Physician Prof. Dr. med. Vincent Zimmer) and the Sulzbach site (Department of Gastroenterology with the Gastrointestinal Center Saar, Chief Physician Dr. med. Patrizio Merloni). Together the two sites comprise numerous departments ranging from general and visceral surgery to cardiology and radiology.
